September: Food For Thought

Food For Thought --- Selections

For this project, I inserted various food items into a composition to form a "life-like" portrayal of some original or preconceived scene. I took a waffle and cut it into squares for my buildings, for lack of square waffles. For this I simply used rectangular marquee selection tool. For all else I relied on the quick selection tool. Special attention had to be given to the layer orders, as many things in the composition overlap and such.

To make a change from the norm I used a yellow tomato for the sun. I also have it a glow effect, which appears more like a stain on the background of drinking water.
